Titan Platform bulks smart home play with content deal, hub launch

Content platform provider and entertainment hub company Titan Platform US, part of the Korean start-up of the same name, has cut a global content distribution deal with cloud-based internet video service Frequency – to provide a platform housing multiple content sources. The deal could have much greater significance if Titan Platform eventually wins a deployment at one of the big four US telcos, which the company recently told Faultline Online Reporter was in the works. Titan Platform is licensing over 200 channels from Frequency’s video aggregation and distribution site, which it says includes some of the world’s leading providers.
